Vintage 1950's era terracotta figurine, made in Italy by S Placenti.
- A fully laden donkey/mule with his handler, a teenage boy
- Stamped to base, 'Made in Italy S Placenti'
- Finely detailed
CONDITION
- The terracotta has a thin outer glaze with some gloss to it - there are patches all over the figure where this has worn, showing the raw finish underneath
- Around the edge of the oval base there are numerous small chips, they are hard to spot as the colour difference is minimal
- All as pictured
DIMENSIONS
14.5 cm tall, base measures 19 x 9 cm across the broadest points of the figurine.
