Hardcover 'Gilded Floral' journal of 160 lined pages.  It replicates a gilded lacquer 19th-century bookbinding crafted for an illuminated Persian manuscript. The original lacquer work design was created with delicate layers of paint, a coating of shellac which was carefully sanded to a shine, and subtle applications of gold leaf.

As someone who gets to handle some gorgeous antique books I am not impressed easily....but I highly rate the work of Peter Pauper Press, their journal range is a knock out.
