Hanayama Huzzle puzzles are premium cast metal brain teasers designed to be taken apart and reassembled. Cast 'News' is a notoriously tough one, rated Level 6 (Grand Master). It has a satisfying weight in the hand, and the clever mechanism is hidden inside a tidy, geometric shape marked with compass style letters. Designed by legendary puzzle creator Nobuyuki Yoshigahara (NOB), originally launched in May 2003.

How to play
Your mission is to separate the puzzle into its two pieces, then put it back together again. Take your time and pay attention to the orientation as you explore movement, because small changes matter. The puzzle features N, S, E and W markings which may help guide your thinking. The manufacturer does not include a printed solution, so it’s all you and your persistence.
