Labelled a "bluebird" but he is soo much more than that. This little guy is smothered in greens, blues and oranges and is super hungry! Wind him up to see him peck away. So much energy for a little bird.
Reproduction tin toys have become quite collectable in modern times, as true vintage pieces become harder to find. Our range of metal wind up and push-along toys look and feel as they would have back in the late 1800s to mid-1900s.
Motorised tin-plate toys began production in Germany in the 1860s, with the most famous producer being Ernst Paul Lehmann, who continued to make tin toys until the 1930s.
