• The quandong (also known as the Wongup) is a native Australian fruit that can only be picked under a license - the trees are difficult to cultivate so the fruits can only be sourced from naturally growing trees. 
• The fruit has a sweet but tart taste and more vitamin C than an orange!
• The quandongs used in this mix are endemic to the Dumbleyung area and picked by Heather Wright, who uses them to make a beautiful range of quandong-based treats.
• This salt mix is great for damper, salads or to use as a rub.
