Wind Up Tin Toy - Duck on Trike

$33.50

I guess you could say this ugly duckling has its own charm. Watch his little legs go as he peddles along to propel his hat into a spinning motion. You may just be quackers if you think this guy is adorable, but then again we all have our own tastes.

Reproduction tin toys have become quite collectable in modern times, as true vintage pieces become harder to find. Our range of metal wind-up and push-along toys look and feel as they would have back in the late 1800s to mid-1900s.

Motorised tin-plate toys began production in Germany in the 1860s, with the most famous producer being Ernst Paul Lehmann, who continued to make tin toys until the 1930s.
