Vintage signal lantern with three solid convex glass lenses in red, green and clean. Unusual trapezoid shape.
Belt clip style fastener on the flat back. Lenses arranged green, clear, red. Front panel (where the clear lenses sits) is hinged and opens to reveal the inner space which has tracks where presumably a oil burner or similar sat.
Oval shaped plaque on the front which has the initials DL in a triangle.
One of the top clips near the ventilation stack has broken. Some extra holes have been drilled in the base and back. One corrosion hole in the base. Green lens has impact damage at the bottom.
19 cm wide acrosse the back, 19.5 cm tall, 9.5 front to back. Lenses each measure, 7.5 cm diameter.
