ANTIQUE Wooden Bread Board with Brown Bakelite Base - Farite WA

Antique wooden bread board set into a brown bakelite base.  A hard to find piece of kitchenalia!

• The bakelite base is marked Farite, WA.  It has a moat like rim, which is great for catching crumbs etc
• The wooden board sits neatly and securely into the base but easily slips out for cleaning.

CONDITION

The wooden board has all the scratches to show a well used life.  The bakelite (which I have not polished) has some scratch wear but no chips.

It's perfectly useable and will complement a vintage style kitchen beautifully - a new wooden board could easily be fitted if that is your preference.

Not often found with the original board still in situ.

Board has a diameter of 19 cm.  Bakelite base has a diameter of 26 cm.
